Since the beginning of this academic year, many of the primary students have had the opportunity to read with a sixth form student during form. The number of students participating in this has somewhat extended and now Years 3, 4 and 5 read with a sixth former once a week. This has been an excellent opportunity for students to create links with those of differing ages and has helped in promoting the ‘OneSchool’ atmosphere at Swaffham Campus. The scheme aims to consolidate reading skills and will hopefully result in improved confidence in this essential skill. We must extend our thanks to the sixth form who help out to make this work!
